Christopher M. Wright
Partner, Financial Advisor
Early in my broadcasting career, a mentor gave me a piece of advice about interviewing guests: "The best place to start … is to care." I've been borrowing it ever since.
I spent 27 years with the Moody Broadcasting Network before moving into financial services. The motivation wasn't hard to trace. Growing up, my family ran a contracting business, an excavating company, and a Midwest trucking operation. People who wanted to sell us something were never hard to find. Advisors who genuinely wanted to understand us were another story.
My path into finance began with a friend who had recently retired after selling his family's brokerage firm. He took me under his wing and taught me how money actually works. That foundation led me to John Johnson, who invited me to join him and Val Trca as a Partner at Integrated Financial Services, where I have served clients for the past 12 years.
My work comes down to two commitments. The first is to educate and advise. Clients don't need to become licensed advisors, but they deserve to understand what we recommend and why. The second is independence. As fully independent advisors, we have access to the full spectrum of investment options, including custom-designed growth and income strategies registered with the SEC, built to perform across varying market conditions. That flexibility lets us serve clients through the accumulation years and well into retirement.
I hold a Bachelor's degree from Moody Bible Institute, along with my insurance license, Series 65 license, and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designation. Before finance, the United States Coast Guard took me considerably further than the Inland Northwest, patrolling from the Arctic Circle to the Equator and from the Bahamas to Tokyo.
I live in North Spokane with my wife Gerri. Our four kids, Megan, David, Kate, and Ken, are scattered from Montana to North Pole, Alaska. On weekends you'll find me on a backcountry drive or a trail walk with Eva, our Black Lab/Blue Heeler mix. Faith is central to my life, and I serve on the board of the Spiritual Formation Society of Washington and in the leadership of my local church.
Every client comes in with a different picture. That variety is what makes this work worth doing.
